Today was another day where I had to get up early and do my workout. We had open school today, which meant I was at school for like 12 hours. Good times I tell ya.
I knew I didn’t have time for BFBM or NMTZ, and definitely not time for any of Bob’s workouts. Wasn’t really feeling Yoga Meltdown. And that left the 30 Day Shred.
So I went back to where it all started. Back in April I started doing Jillian’s 30 Day Shred. I did it every day for 30 days, staying at each level for 10 days. I remember when I first started it I thought I was going to die. It’s not an easy workout by any stretch of the imagination. None of the levels are.
And it’s still not easy, but I didn’t feel like I was going to die. I actually had energy when I was finished rather than feeling drained and exhausted.
I’m actually contemplating incorporating it more into my plan – maybe not every day, but more than a couple of times a week. As long as I’m making sure to give myself rest days, I think I’ll be ok. We’ll see how it goes.
But you know what? I’m making progress and getting fitter!
